Kamigoryō Shrine
上御霊神社

Kamigoryō Shrine is a Shinto shrine located north of the Imperial Palace. Its festival in May passes through the Imperial Palace, although I have not yet been to the procession. The shrine is famous for the many Iris flowers blooming on its grounds in early May.

Admission: open year-round
Nearby places of interest: Shōkoku-ji, Tennei-ji
