Jōbon Rendai-ji
上品蓮台寺
One of Kyōto’s thousands of temples, this Shingon branch Buddhist temple is known for its cherry blossoms, in particular the early blooming weeping cherry located just on the other side of the main gate. With the temple being located just along the busy Senbon Road, it could be worth peeking into on a spring morning when visiting the area.
