Raigō-in
来迎院

Located uphill from Sanzen-in, Raigō-in is another small temple in Ohara. Similar to Shōrin-in in its layout, Raigō-in does not offer a fancy garden. Instead, the main point of interest in Raigō-in are perhaps its Buddhist sculptures, some of which are dating back to the Heian Period (8th-11th century). The temple is located uphill from Sanzen-in, along the way to a small waterfall that is worth a visit especially during the summer months.

Admission: open year-round
